Our History

Amos Lodge #7 stands as a cornerstone of Freemasonry in Bowie, Maryland, carrying forward a rich tradition that spans generations. Our lodge was established with the fundamental principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth at its core.

Throughout our history, we have been dedicated to the moral and intellectual development of our members while actively contributing to the betterment of our community. We take pride in our heritage as part of the Ancient Free & Accepted Masons of Maryland, one of the oldest and most respected Masonic jurisdictions in the United States.

Our lodge has witnessed the growth and evolution of Bowie and Prince George's County, always remaining steadfast in our commitment to making good men better through Masonic principles and fellowship. We continue to honor the traditions passed down through generations while embracing the needs and challenges of modern times.
